People often wonder what is the deadliest creature on the planet and argue about which animal should take that credit.

To be honest my friends, none validates that crowning glory other than us - HUMANS. The intellect, the previledge and the supreme species of them all. Humans are the main culprits, responsible for the termination of many other living things on this planet - from trees to animals and fishes.

Yes, in many cases, we do not only consume but we also waste and destroy, rather than protecting them.

For the fast decade, I have witness the rapid change and deterioration of reefs environment in our area and I’de like to fool myself by simply pointing to the global warming phenomenon. But the truth is, we humans have made it even worst. Our tolerance to destructive practices like; illegal logging and mining that leads to erosions and fast sedimentation in our ocean floor, the instant cyanide and blast fishing effect, the pollution and of course, the careless development and tourism are the primary components to this process. The good news is, we may be able to help slow it down or perhaps neutralize it by means of our responsive concern and collective actions.
